Training Inside a Working Factory
Since 2015, Steiger has operated as a registered training company within Romania’s Dual Vocational Training System. Apprentices are trained by our own personnel — experienced professionals who work daily with the same machines and processes.
All training is carried out at our Carei facility — a 7,000 m² production hall with CNC machining centres, bridge cranes, welding stations, and integrated quality systems. Apprentices are not passive observers. They are part of the production floor from the start.
The structure follows the national curriculum while embedding apprentices in a live production environment. Theory and practice are linked from day one.
The program is run in partnership with Liceul Tehnologic „Simion Bărnuțiu” Carei (Simion Bărnuțiu Vocational High School). Training is available in Hungarian. The school can be contacted at Tel: 0361 402 226 or liceulsimionbarnutiucarei.ro.

- CNC Machining (Operator CNC) — programming fundamentals, setup, and operation of machining centres (primary intake)
- Welding — MIG/MAG and structural welding on steel components and assemblies
- Mechanical Assembly — fitting, tolerance control, and assembly from technical drawings
- Quality Control — inspection methods, measurement tools, and documentation
