We make complex welded and machined steel structures. Started in 1994 in a double garage in Carei. Today we supply aerospace, railway, and energy companies across Europe.
In the 1930s, Vasile’s grandfather moved to Bucharest to work at Malaxa, the most important European locomotive factory at the time. He trained as a boilermaker, then came back to Carei in 1940, and taught the trade to others in the area.
George, his son, continued in the same line of work. By the 1960s he managed 450 employees at FIUT in Carei, making boilers and mining tools for export. Vasile joined at 15, working summers. He stayed on through the name changes to TRUM, until leaving in 1990.
In 1994, Vasile and his wife Ileana started the company in their garage. They started with equipment, experience, and limited capital. The business grew from there — first a workshop, then a small factory, then the 7,000 m² facility we operate today with 100+ employees. We still make welded and machined steel structures, but now they end up in aerospace assemblies, railway systems, and energy infrastructure across Europe.
We are still based in Carei. The same family still owns and operates the business, and we remain responsible for every component we produce.

We build machine beds, chassis, and process equipment that are welded, stress-relieved where required, and machined to final tolerance in the same facility.

Vasile and his wife Ileana founded the company in 1994. Their family still owns and operates it. You can speak directly with the people who make decisions. We also train young people through Romania’s Dual Vocational Training System.
Integrated Manufacturing
We handle cutting, welding, machining, testing, painting, and delivery ourselves. One team manages the whole process, so nothing falls between the steps.
